Overview
Firstly, what is this game? Well its a game endorsed and based around the legendary snowboarder and skateboarder Shaun White (SW). You are a beginner snowboarder and you are taken under SWs wing so to speak and he helps you tap in to your focus.

Storyline
You have the potential to be a big star in the snowboarding world. You have the option to do the game a few ways, firstly really casual. Just ride around enjoy the mountains and have a good time. You can play the game by doing all the competitions on the mountain then moving to the next one and so on and so forth. Or you can do all of Shauns quests to gain focus abilitys. Focus allows you to preform special abilitys, firstly Power check this allows you to destroy objects and find hidden areas. Secondly, Speed Boost this as the name suggests gives you a massive speed boost and allows you to reach insane speeds. Lastly, Big Air this again as suggested, allows you to do massive jumps. The idea of these all is to collect coins to learn the next ability and unlock the last big event.

Pros
The game is extremely addictive and relaxing. I dont find myself getting angry like I would do with CoD. You can play at your own pace, as you dont need to do anything you can just calmly chill on the mountain and have fun. Story line is good and interested. The mountains are massive, there is so much to explore new routes to find and there is now DLC to add another two mountains. Loading is fast, when loading between mountains there is a half-pipe to mess about in so you dont get bored, not that you would as it takes about 20 secs to load the mountain. The graphics are lovely, nice on the eye and well done. The controls are easy to use, if you have played any game like this before then you will find it easy to play.

Cons
Speed, it is a bit bad regarding how speed is shown. You dont always feel like you are going fast when you are. Crashes are strange. You dont lose all your speed and can carry on from the worst crashes. Not that that is too bad. Video upload, there is an online gallery for the clips however it does not work and is just bad, would be great if it worked.

I love this game, and am not bored of it and will be getting the dlc soon. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a break from games such as CoD etc. You, like me, may not like it the first time you play it. I left it a year and game back to it. Now I can't stop playing it. Get this game you wont regret it.
