Synopsis (Wikipedia)

Similar to previous installments of the series, the two games follow the journey of a young Pokemon trainer through the region of Unova, as they train Pokemon used to compete against other trainers, while thwarting the schemes of the criminal organization Team Plasma. Black and White introduce over 150 brand-new Pokemon to the franchise, as well as many new features, including a seasonal cycle, fully animated Pokemon sprites and triple battles. Both titles are independent of each other, but feature largely the same plot, and while both can be played separately, trading Pokemon between both of the games is necessary in order to complete the games' Pokedex.

Plot

I would have to say this is the best Pokemon game yet. You're a brand new Pokemon trainer, as you start if your room when your two rivals appear as you're choosing your first Pokemon, the local PKMN Professor dropped off a gift containing three Pokeballs, in the first one, the grass PKMN Snivy, in the second one, the fire pig PKMN Tepig, and in the third one, the water otter PKMN Oshawott. You then battle your Rivals, Bianca and Cheren, you will most likely beat Bianca, but you'll probably lose to Cheren. As you begin your journey you land in Striation City, there you can achieve your first GYM Badge. As you obtain all 8 Badges, you will evetually come to the Elite Four and the Champion Alder, you will find mysteries there. Now the mysteries you will accomplish and as yet discover new Pokemon. The UNOVA Region is modeled off of New York City, which was pretty amazing.

Gameplay

The game is more advanced than the other previous ones, what's new to this is that it has over 150 new Pokemon and has more advanced 3D buildings. The overworld sprites are not as pixelated as the ones in other Pokemon games and plus you can discover the all new dream world, where you put a Pokemon asleep and then you get on your computer and get on a certain pokemon.com URL and you'll find the dream world, where you can interact with your Pokemon in its dream and go look for other Pokemon which can be sent over to the game sync.

Controls

You use the DPAD to move Up and Down.
The A and B buttons can be for Capturing a Pokemon.
The A button can be used for Selecting.
The B button can be used for Running and going Back.
L And R have no controls.
Start can be used to Select things.
Select can be used to Select things.
The Bottom Touch Screen is used for many things.
The Y button is used to view Registered Items.
The X button is used to access the Menu.

Graphics

The graphics on this new Pokemon game are amazing for any Pokemon game, its a big step to go from horrible 2D graphics in Pokemon Red, Blue, Gold, Silver, And Crystal to these amazing 3D like graphics.
