Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs is an action role-playing game in which gameplay revolves around capturing Pokemon with the Capture Styler by drawing circles around them. If the Pokemon breaks through the drawn circles by using attacks on them, then the styler's health goes down, and runs out of energy. When energy reaches 0, the styler breaks and the game resumes from the last save point. However, if, for example, the Pokemon walks through the styler's line without using an attack, the styler's line will break, but the styler does not take damage. Capturing Pokemon and completing missions increases XP, which can lead to styler upgrades, such as power upgrade and energy upgrade. After a certain point, the styler can be charged in order to be more effective. One of the new features lets you call out your Pokemon for support and to help in captures. The player can use "Guardian Signs" (also referred to in the game as "Ranger Signs" or "Emblems" by drawing certain symbols, to summon Legendary Pokmon like Entei, Raikou, and Suicune and use them outside of battle. Other features include four player cooperative play with unique missions. The game also includes Wi-Fi mission downloads, one of which gives you access to Deoxys, which can be moved to the DS's other Pokemon games.
Gameplay
This is the latest Pokemon Ranger game which makes it the most advanced of all of the games in the Pokemon Ranger series. Other than being the most advanced, it has introduced the "Ranger Signs," Ranger Signs are signs that can be used at any time to call certain Pokemon. You also have your new pal, "Ukelele Pichu," which he can assist you by playing his ukelele to calm down the Pokemon during capture.
Plot
Now I won't go to much into detail because then I would telling the whole plot of the story. You're a young Pokemon Ranger on your way to the Oblivia Region when you see an evil team of people called Pokemon Pinchers chasing Latios or Latias depening on which gender you chose. You'll battle the Pokemon Pinchers and try to save your Ranger partner and end up falling into the ocean and land on the shore of Dolce Island where all the Pokemon are being captured by the evil Pokemon Pinchers. This is only the beginning, you'll be accompined by your partner and friend Pokemon Ukelle Pichu! You'll battle many Pinchers and Leaders, discover many Legendary Pokemon such as the Dog Trio, the Bird Trio, and the Rainbow bird Ho-Oh, the ancient Pokemon Regigigas, and the strongest Pokemon of all Mewtwo! You'll befriend Pokemon and People! This is the greates Pokemon Ranger journey ever!
Ranger Signs
As where you get the title of the game Guardian Signs, as you battle Legendary Pokemon you will share you feelings of emotions with them and then something bright will appear on your screen,

and then the Voice Nav will tell you to draw the sign and you'll draw it,

you then can call that legendary Pokemon at all times!
Graphics
The graphics are okay for a Pokemon Ranger, because you want it to look like it's the TV show, not some pixeled game! The capture stylus is very easy to use now, here are some pictures of the grapics!

I love pokemon but I have honestly never cared for the pokemon ranger games I'd give it a 7/10

The reason I actually bought this game was cause I borrowed my friends Pokemon ranger when it first came out and I thought it was going to be stupid and I ended up never returning it, but as time went by I stopped playing Pokemon and started playing call of duty, just about 5 months ago I started playing Pokemon again. I then remembered about Pokemon ranger and saw that they made two others, so I bought the newest one. It is a very fun game!
