You will eventually get used to having sockets in your mouth, over time they will harden and you will barely notice them

it does hurt for a day or two if you don't take any pain medication. Did all 4 of mine at once and only the bottom two were an issue. They went in there with vice grips and slowly starting breaking the teeth. On the other hand, the top two popped out like an edamame, and felt kind of nice.

During the operation they put a cloth in your throat to prevent you from choking on chunks of your tooth that break off during the extraction.
