I have a Chevy C10 1987 and I noticed that my first couple drives the stuck would stall and turn off on itself even while driving or coming to a complete stop..

Even when I turn it back on from it giving up on me it gives out once more when I am idling in park..

It only runs fine when I am driving it for a while and able to hit higher speeds for longer periods of time and was able to get green lights on my way to a destination. I understand its a carbureted engine v8 but it's also fuel injected so I don't see the reason why I need to stay in my truck for more than 5 minutes to get somewhere.
