Anyone ever do one? I just got to work and this is pretty quick compared to searching their site.
I'm just trying to see how accurate the pricing is. I have a layout made up currently and with counters looking at 15k I estimated taxes for around here. But basically wondering if theirs any hidden things that you were like I did not expect that... I will be going and getting it all professionally measured and layed out ofc but just trying to get an idea of what to expect. |

I built a kitchen last year, but I only bought one unit from IKEA. I had to lay the floor first, then when the sink unit went in I needed external help for the plumbing. It then took me about two months to finally get the tiling done once I had the kitchen in place. If there's a gas pipe already and you're happy with it's position, there's probably nothing to worry about there.
If you intend to install the kitchen yourself, then I can't see there being any additional costs beyond the aforementioned considerations. If you need the kitchen to be installed for you, then that probably isn't covered in the price of the kitchen. |

Yes I'll be installing myself and a buddy. My dad's a plumber so that'll be handled there. I suppose the lights I wanted to do professionally so we will see there. But basically the price I see on the kitchen designer is what I'll pay minus taxes. Thanks again |

He does framing and when they get all caught up he goes back to trimming so he will be useful with this project. It is big tho... A whole new kitchen layout with new cabinets and appliances. And all new flooring and trim thru out the whole upstairs which is around 1600 sqft so it's going to be a very long tiring project. |
