Has anyone upgraded from Xbox One X to Xbox Series S and was there much of a different ?

Update What games would you recommend buying for the series x ? Games I play are only Battlefield 2024 , MWII and rarely GTA V

Thanks

never had the Scorpio version myself, but a lad i play PUBG with has one, he loads in about 7-10 seconds after i do..

to my understanding, the Scorpio version actually has a beefier graphics unit than the Series S does, but the Series S performs better because of the NVMe SSD

if you would sell the Scorpio and use the funds to put towards the Series S, which is only like $288 from Microsoft, it shouldn't be much out of pocket to upgrade at that point. the series s is definitely a nice experience. the SSD makes an incredible difference that is noticeable immediately.

edit 12/30/2022: the series S can be bought for around $250 since Black Friday..

Depending on if you're really into graphics or not, I couldn't really tell but in my case i don't even own a 4k monitor.

As for game performance, yeah it was a pretty noticeable upgrade I still have my X1X but my nephew has the Series and apex runs like butter on it. I rarely dropped from 60 fps and if i did it was for a split second. On the X1X i barely get 40 in massive fights in unoptimized areas of the map.

I upgraded from One X to Series X and difference in load times are huge!
As far as I know, roughly the same load times on Series S.
If you can afford it / find one. I'd go for the Series X.
Bigger SSD (Can only play Series X/S games on internal)
And native 4K while the S drops resolution to keep 120 fps

Has anyone bought the 2TB expansion card at all ? In Australia , it will cost me $719. My biggest question is , is it worth spending that money on it ?

Thanks.

I thought it was expensive in Canada. $479.99 here

I have been just uninstalling games or moving them to my external
hard drive when not playing them. Hoping that eventually 3rd party
SSD's will work in the future but not looking the greatest

Thanks ,you would think xbox would release the console with a bigger hard drive ? I'm unsure if I really want to spend that kind of money.

Thanks for all the help.
