Oop... that's Gerrard gone. I knew he shoulda stayed at Rangers.

As a Liverpool fan I was disappointed when he made the switch. He left a Europa League final team and national champions in Rangers for a team that celebrates finishing in the top half of the table. He had a long way still to prove himself before making a switch to the PL. I'm not sure where he'll find a chance to prove himself for the Anfield hot seat now! I expect he won't...

It's a shame because Villa actually have a lot of good players. I don't think Gerrard has what it takes to be a prem manager

No, nor I unfortunately. It's a hell of a squad they've got. On paper they should be the best of the rest this season and punching in the cup competitions. If they make the right managerial appointment, they still can have a good crack in the cups.

I think Gerrard just rushed it too much. If he stayed with Rangers a while longer and built up experience on a cooler seat, I think it'd be a different story.

The only highlight for Villa fans is they kept douglas luiz.Gerrard will never manage liverpool in a million years and hes my all time favourite player but hes just not up to par as a manager.Ye are right about Villas squad lads its actually decent,Matty cash,Douglas Luiz,Leon Bailey,Ollie Watkins for example are decent players Emi Martinez in goal too I rate him also hes a decent keeper.
