I started playing outriders when It was first released and I I stopped playing it after a few hours of campaign because it was plagued with bugs and had server issues!

What's the game like now? Is it worth going back to play or should I start potentially dying light or maybe Witcher 3?

I'll rep everyone that replies

I played it a ton even through the bugs and when i lost my first character. I got to endgame and got gold on every single map. The issue with the game is that it didn't have an endgame after getting gold on every map. It was all about RNG and hoping you got the weapon you wanted.

A lot of people who lost their characters got compensation but it took them nearly 3+ months to get to everyone and people who didn't get anything were pretty mad because the compensation they received were maxed out weapons for said character so it made people pretty mad.

On top of all of that, there was a way for people to get perfect weapons by re-rolling the DLC gun but again in Outriders fashion they too disappeared but they didn't give compensation for that because "its bug abuse"

After a couple of months after i quit they did update the game quite a bit, One update was that they allowed Transmogs (you can wear any outfit you've unlocked so you don't look like a oom-pah Loompa)

After that they fixed the way you get golds on maps, Back then it was timed so you had to get absurd times which only perfect builds could get and it would take upwards to 60+ hours on certain classes.

So in the end, the game is in a okay spot to grind IF you never reached endgame and went for weapons. They're releasing a new expansion in a couple of months so i expect probably 100+ more hours on content.

Edit: The expansion comes out on the 30th of this month

Idk about Outriders never played it but Dying Light is class man, I love the game.

As always play Dying Light and Dying Light: The Following then play Dying Light 2, you won't be disappointed. If you play Dying Light 2 and your on Xbox and need some decent weapons i can drop you some to start you off.

Only ever played beta and didn't have much fun. However, dying light 1 and 2 are amazing games. Have completed both several times and am still playing 2 again.

Outriders is a dead game with a terrible story that makes no sense and bad gameplay

I'll agree with the terrible story but the gameplay is pretty good. Especially with the new consoles i expect it to run great. The only issue i had was hopping from character to character took ages.

The characters were pretty fun. I enjoyed the tree aspect of the game the most. I liked how even though you picked one character they had 3 branches of how they can be played.

Like the Technomancer had a Massive DPS tree but also had things like unlimited rockets or unlimited minigun tree's or just a outright support build that freezes/slows and poisons everyone.

And i hear that the next expansion is adding even more trees to every build so that's pretty cool.

The story aspect was pretty boring. But i will admit i did complete every single main and side mission because i'm a completionist and some of the missions were pretty cool.

Lets hope they learned their lesson and they make a banger of a game this go. They went through a horrible start but brought it back 5-6 months too late.
