Crunchyroll, considering it now has Funimations library added to it is the best. However UI and service wise it's laughable, constant errors that supposedly are getting fixed and somehow their data gets breached 24/7 (something really fishy about that...) . |

I can also vouch for Crunchyroll/Funimation. Definitely worth it if you're looking for a good subscription! |

If you're willing to go the torrent route, then Nyaa.si is, without a doubt, the place to go to. New, old, obscure-- it's pretty much all there. Then, I recommend using SeaSmoke's Anime Index to see what releases of what shows to look out for when browsing Nyaa. Though it may be somewhat subjective (that is, what one considers to be the "best" release), it's an extremely useful reference nonetheless.
As for streaming sites, I also vouch for animepahe. The site loads fast and their bitrates are good enough. Plus, unlike other sites, they actually include the release group of the show/episode, which is greatly appreciated. nyaa.si/ releases.moe/ animepahe.com/ |

thank you for all the replies! i have been looking into some of these options.
i prefer to watch anime in english, and am on a very small budget.. but dont want to do anything too shady/illegal. What are some of my more cheaper options? I see funimation is $8 a month, or $100 a year which is fair. |
