I'm aiming this forwards the UK crowd and I know the world celebrates it, but this is more for my UK people
Does anybody agree that it is. One of the worst "clubbing" nights of the year? The queues for clubs takes x5 longer than normal, entry is more expensive and bar times are so much longer.??? Maybe it's just around my way but you can get that drunk before and when you go out, by time it takes 45/1 hour to get to the bar you're sobering up... For me it's just such a terrible night, it sounds mental but it's almost too busy. And I don't wanna be the bearer of bad news because I'm not to big on this covid thing, but Jesus are the covid cases gonna rise after tomorrow nights celebrations! Anyway have a good New years all, let's go 2022 |

| I am in the US but it is the same here. I do not go out to bars but I will say living in the heart of a large city made it much easier to get right into the fun on holidays. |

None of them about and if you are one of the lucky ones to source one, they cost a fortune. It absolutely is not worth going out on nye unless your on a city break or abroad for it. |

I'm not kidding the town has 1, and ONE only night club but plenty of bars and they're all within walking distance My house to the main club, is less than a 10 minute walk so taxi ain't the issue. I just am in two minds, do I go out to see 2021 off? I know, from experience I'm 27, I've been going out since 18, NYE like the whole country is Jam packed Queues for the bar are Ridiclous, it's that busy you can't even dance, I'm not sure also I'm 99% sure it's a known fact I think it even made news due to Ireland and Scotland Wales rescritions, a lot are travelling over for NYE... so where I live is a seaside place anyway it's known for tourists it's gonna be even busier and the night club isn't even a proper big one due to the town being small I sound like I'm talking myself out of it but in reality, I know it's just gonna be a waste of time even get ready, but I KINDA WANNA. Ffs |

Best to have a street party
Going into nightclubs or bars at this time (especially NYE) is gonna be a waste of time and money |

| yh probably the worst night of the year for nightclubs etc i cba with all the queuing up for drinks for 20+mins hence why i'm just gonna stay in with the fam |
