I think Paiva was a seriously good win for him. The thing about the UFC is there's always a guy 27-29 entering his athletic prime that's ready to make a run in their division. I think Sean has good hands and the ground skills to make sure he doesn't get choked out, but he's 6-1 in the UFC with only one of those wins coming against a serious fighter. Other guys he's beat some of them haven't even fought since. And it sounds like he's got a training camp injury now so he'll be put on the back burner until next summer. The thing about Sean that he learned very quickly is the most important thing for sustaining your career in the UFC is marketing yourself in a way people will want to watch your fights. Either because they want to see you get knocked out or they become your fans. The crazy hair, the jabs at fighters in his press conferences and interviews, twitch streams. He's definitely a smart guy and looking to make a ton of money while he's in his prime. I think I'd like to see him beat someone like Dominick Cruz or Merab, those would be a legit win for him. I'm just not sure I see him as a guy that can compete with any of those killers in the top 3 right now, I think Yan, Aldo and Sterling are a different breed that Sean hasn't even come close to fighting those types of guys yet.
