So I have Cold War pre downloaded when will it be playable November 4th. With everyone else or will it not be till 5th
I have seen people saying they can play on the 4th is that just if you get a GameStop copy or will it work for pre ordered on Xbox too

You can play earlier if you have the disc version of the game, otherwise owning Vanguard digitally, you'll be able to play it 12 o'clock, midnight eastern on the 5th, 11pm on the november 4th my time central. Playing the game a couple hours early with the disc might be playable, I'm expecting the servers to take a huge shit when the game releases for everyone.

Change your location on your console to New Zealand and you can play 12 hours prior to release in the UK. That's for digital version

If I change my Xbox to new zeland will I be able to just play vanguard when it drops for UK or will it know that I bought the game with USD and know I'm not from new zeland will I have to rebuy the game ?

From what I know I believe so people think you will get banned and you won't this method has been around for years idk if this worked for modern warfare or not

You do not have to rebuy it. However, if they use a release structure like the BF2042 beta did and use a UTC release time, it won't work until a specific time no matter what timezone you're in.

I have done it for years, you won't get banned or have to buy it again. Just switch back to your location before actual launch.
