I'm currently new to playing on pc and looking to start a new build, I currently have a 3080ti and was looking to either get a high end Ryzen or intel CPU every review i'm looking at is telling me different and its extremely overwhelming learning all these new words like what is a core/thread lol. Mostly i'll be gaming however i'd like to make sure this pc is 100% solid.
in your own words would you run a 5950x, 5900x or 11900k

Thanks for reading and helping

The 5600X is the best deal. You sacrifice nothing in most games compared to the 5800X, 5900X, or 5950X. More cores and threads do not necessarily get you better game performance.

That said, the 5800X and 5900X are good options if you play a game proven to scale with more threads or you need better performance outside of games.

I suggest the Scythe Fuma II cooler for a the 5600X and the Arctic Freezer II 240 AIO for the 5800X and up.

I like mine. You'll see very high and fast temp spikes, up to 95C, which is normal due to the die layout.
