Hey everyone. I haven't the slightest clue what I'm doing, so I thought I'd reach out and try to ask for some advice on a build idea I had.

- I want to build a gaming computer that will fit into a backpack
- Is water cooled with the ventilation and cable connections facing out the opening of the bag.
- I do not need to overclock.
- budget is no concern, as I am only looking for general advice.
- the monitor should fit into a pelican case in the bag, as well as the mouse and keyboard.
- power consumption is a limitation, 700-1100 watts max power inverter, running on six 12v batteries.

The reason for this build is because I am a truck driver and I would like a computer I can take over the road and back home without the need for two separate builds.
I currently have a razor 15" laptop, it's great, but the screen is too small for my liking and I don't think the 17" model would be much of an improvement. The laptop runs fine with a pure sine 700w inverter, even with the truck turned off.

Simple answer 1: buy a bigger laptop
Simple answer 2: float a monitor over the laptop (next preference)
I'm probably over complicating things, but it seemed like a cool idea at the time, so let me know what you think.

Water cooling is definitely a waste here because of no overclock. Air cooling is a better solution. And building out of backpack would be tricky. Might want to invest into an SFF case like the Ghost S1 and just carry that in the backpack or build the computer right inside of a big pelican case with the monitor mounted to the inside of the top cover so it opens like a laptop.

Thanks for the replies. I opted to just get a 17" model razor. We'll see how that goes.
