Sounds amazing, heard nothing but good things from that field. Been looking for trade schools for something to do in the mechanic field but haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet. Anyways, GL out there!

congrats on choosing a great career path.

welding is dangerous, but the pay is great. learn all that you can in your apprenticeship.

trades are quickly becoming great career options. learn a skill, you'll never forget and always be able to have a job as long as you're healthy.

trade school > 4 year program

just like school/college isn't for everybody, trades aren't for everyone either.

Good choice man!

Look into Apprentices in your area so that way they pay for school and pay for you to learn in the field!

Tig is my favorite but I got qualified for it all. I took it my senior year of high school. First half of the day I was at welding school then went to school the rest of the day. Even though I don't do any welding work now, I just wanted the certification just incase my current occupation doesn't work out. If your a hard worker and don't mind working outside then trades are awesome.

Goodluck, patience and steady hands are key.
