GeneralCS:GO Help Needed

Hey guys, the problem I'm about to write about started happening about a year back. I haven't been able to play since.
This Problem happens with CS:GO Basically, I click "Play" and it says Running, and after about 4 seconds it just returns to "Play" and no game running What I have tried Re-installing Steam Killing steam & it's process Restarting PC Running as admin Reinstalling CS Verifying game files If you could help me with this i'd much appreciate it |

| probably a corrupted file some where ive had that happen on other games |

I've only had a game do that to me once, and I sat there and pressed play nonstop until it finally launched.
Edit: Game was Scum not cs if you wanted to know |
