I believe which ever state you live in, if you go to their website there should be some information regarding Covid 19 relief.
If they don't offer anything, maybe try to get a small loan to hold you over? Goodluck my friend & get well to soon to your family

This is what it says

The state will no longer offer federal pandemic unemployment programs after Saturday, June 26, 2021. Regular state unemployment insurance benefits will continue to be offered.

Maybe you can even apply for unemployment? The process sometimes go pretty fast, specially right now. Also, the government funded small and medium businesses for cases like this. Your spouse should talk to the work to see what's up.

Ignoring poor financial decisions, many states still have a surplus of Fed money for rental assistance programs, look up information in your area here: home.treasury.gov/policy-issues/c...gram-index

Absolutely do not go for any sort of short term loan options through payday loan vendors or similar, with your credit score you'll get absolutely destroyed on any predatory plan and will be off much worse.

I'll look for some more stuff but most of it will be locality based

When you say behind on bills, how far behind?

Not to sound like I'm patronizing you as I'm sure you're an adult, I'll give you some advice.

Assuming it's only a month or 2, you'll be okay putting them off 2 more weeks. However I think what you should be looking at overall is the bigger picture.

If two weeks without work leaves you in a a state of financial ruin you need to seriously overhaul your spending and make a budget.

You are living well beyond your means from what I can see, and as nice as it is to have nice things, being able to take care of your family and provide for them comes first.

Assuming you can make it the next two weeks, once you get there and have money coming in get your bills paid before anything. Crack down on your spending hard for at least 6 months, you should at a minimum have enough put aside to get you by for 3 months, you never know what the world might through at you.

Again, I don't want this to sound like I'm patronizing you, but two weeks without work should not leave you in shambles like this, this situation goes well beyond this and you need to get on top of it ASAP.

Much love.
