Hi everyone!

I recently just acquired a 2020 R8 v10; can anyone recommend some quality coilovers? I have H and R springs right now, but it's too low towards the ground, and creates scratch marks. I'm thinking about going back to OEM shocks, but just wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Thank you!

As a rule of thumb BC Racing makes really good products with a nice range of adjustment, I would verify the height range to be sure. They would do well on the R8 as they specifically design for weight distro, they are a bit higher end price wise but you wont be disappointed. I would definitely get dirt sleeves for them to reduce the likelihood of dirt/corrosion causing the collars to seize (I think skunk2 makes them). Also would check out fitment industries gallery to see what other people run for suspension/wheel & tire to get an idea of fitment.

IMO I would not be putting BC coilovers on a Audi R8. For something like an Audi R8, I would recommend going with KWs (pricier, but stronger and better) or even H&R and I would like those struts to be very sturdy at higher speeds.

This is why I asked for a budget because KW has some GNARLY ones for R8's but their dummy expensive.

Yeah sure, try looking into Bilstein Clubsport, or other bilstein coils. I use the Bilsteins on my track built BMW and I have no complaints. Price was just right too.

why would you downgrade an R8 by installing 500$ springs?
