Just to throw this out there, no this isn't some sort of dark times thing nothing of the sort and I know this isn't a site full of doctors, and yes I know you should do as you want and be "sensible" but I'm curious

I'm on zapain (Co codamol strength 30/500MG) right now for sudden baxk pain I've been getting nothing major nothing over the top but they work,

And as we've all been in lock down how ever long, I have a family occasion coming up and I want to drink, for the first time. Right now the pain is contained via the tablets (taken responsibly),

But if I was too take my usual 2 and drink alcohol, anybody know if really this is harmful? Google tells you the worst always, and I know Alit of people who don't believe in it, what I mean is I know friends who drink with anti biotics after being told absolutely not, I know it's all down to yourself but surely it can't harm.

Anybody done this???

Please don't comment nonsense I know it's not a doctors website I just want some opinions and if people have done it etc etc.

Think this is a question for your doctor or a pharmacist. Only they will know how medications you are on will react and your doctor knows your body more than we would.

Yes this could actually be harmful to you, you are never really supposed to mix pain killers and alcohol. If you are wanting to drink that bad I would suggest just not taking your pain medication for that day and allow the alcohol to take the pain away, and so that way you can drink as much as you'd like.
