Hello there guys, any of you guys have any sort of experience guidance you can point me to the correct direction on the Shure M7B and GoXLR? I'm in the right move to purchase those two but I need a bit of help what of accessories do I need to purchase with the Shure microphone?

Questions:

A. I got a Blue mic stand would that be good enough? (I think it's called Blue the price on that thing was around £100 and it's stong mic stand)
B. Do I need any wires for the Shure microphone if so what kind of wires do I need?
C. Are those microphones easy to install by following a Youtube video?
D. Anybody got the same microphone that can help me out?

The reason why I want to move onto a better audio microphone I've had a problem with Blue Yeti Microphones, AT2020 USB mic, and now my A50s are pissing me off when the audio surrounding you probably could hear me take a shit on stream that's how sensitive it is, it's time for a better-advanced setup. If anybody could help me out helping me with tips and tricks for the Shure M7B & GoXLR like the best places and the equipment to buy that would be fab. I've looked on Amazon myself but I think other places I could buy for a cheaper price.

A) yeah any microphone would work the stand there is a universal thread. Also the Blue Yeti is one of the heaviest mics around and it can support that so no worries about the weight.

B) you might need an XLR cable to go from mic to interface. No clue if it comes with one or not.

C) yeah they're pretty much plug and play depending on your interface. I haven't used a GoXLR but I've used similar interfaces that only require a quick driver install and a possible restart.

It sounds like a lot of your problems and want for an upgrade are stemming from lack of a noise filter/noise gate; or the gain being turned up to much on your current microphones. The Shure m7b will be a huge upgrade though there are a few big streamers who use it and sound amazing (Sodapoppin to name one).

If you use Discord it can be kind of janky with audio interfaces without using Voicemeter Banana so keep that in mind as well.

Unfortunately, it doesn't come with an XLR cable (Amazon) only the microphone alone you would think for the price you're paying it for you would get some sort of accessories like the XLR cable. I have to buy the cable separate from the mic which sucks.

I have used NVIDIA RTX Voice which has worked well for me with the Blue Yeti mic but as you've mentioned above the microphone is heavy-duty had many robot sound issues and the sound is not very good, same with the AT2020 USB mic used it with the NVIDIA RTX Voice but yet again I had robotic sounds on stream. One of the things I hate is to have crap audio issues especially with tabbing out of a game and back into the game that caused robotic sounds. I would need to buy an audio filter or something for AT2020 which costs around £250 I feel like it's pointless as I can save that towards the Shure M7B & the GoXLR.

Oh, Okay I didn't know about the Discord issue I'll keep that in mind for sure. Thank you!
