Hi all.
I'm buying a new laptop exclusively for architectural work, 3d modelling and rendering. I've narrowed to these two that are available where I live.
-ASUS TUF Dash 15 15.6", Intel Core i7-11370H, RTX 3070
-ASUS ROG Strix G17 17.3", AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3060

The TUF have a weak 4 cores processor but a 8g rtx 3070
The ROG have a much better processor but a weaker 6g rtx 3060.

They both cost the same.

Any inputs?

Depends on what specific applications you'll be using and how heavily dependent they are on the GPU.

The R7 5800H will absolutely dominate the i7, and even in something like DaVinci Resolve which can be GPU intensive, the R7 5800H will still come out ahead despite having the slower GPU.

If it were me, I'd be having the Strix. However if all of the applications you're running barely use the CPU and are almost entirely GPU intensive, then the TUF might still be better.
