I'm 25, never owned a decent PC but I have the funds to afford one but I'm stuck on building one (never done it before) or buying a pre build.

I mainly want it for online gaming and just browsing; watching movies etc.

Games are GTAV and Fortnite
Mainly gaming tho, doesn't have to be the latest and greatest.

Budget is £1,000-£1,500

Monitor, mouse and keyboard needed

Total: £757.02

Good luck finding any GPU's right now. I'd probably try to get a GPU first, and then build the rest of the system. For GPU, I'd be looking for an RX 6700XT or RTX 3060Ti and I wouldn't be paying more than £600 for one, because even 600 is over-priced for them IMO.

Maybe add an aftermarket CPU cooler if you can spend the money, but it's easy enough to do that later and the stock Ryzen cooler is fine for now anyway.

Add whatever capacity 7200RPM HDD you want/need alongside the 1TB SSD.

I would also personally be aiming to spend a little more for a 1440p144Hz monitor instead of 1080p144Hz since a 6700XT/3060Ti is perfectly capable of 1440p144Hz but that would definitely put you over the £1500 top end of your budget. £250-300 will get you a decent 1440p144Hz monitor though.
