im at a dead end with gaming right now, i get on a few times a week and play warzone with buddies I went to high school with but there's never that sense of enjoyment that I had back when I played Mw2, BO1, WaW, CoD4 etc. Those games were so much fun I could grind for hours and never complain.

Im not saying any of the games now are made poorly i mean I see kids now grind it just like how i used to but it still doesnt give off the right vibes. Before especially during Mw2 you had a lot of veteran gamers and just older people in general playing and enjoying CoD but now its not the same whatsoever.

This isn't striclty CoD but its just crazy how your age can ruin something that you once held dear.

Let me know if you feel the same or disagree!!

100% agree mate. We even have more games then we know what to do with too.. which makes things worse as you dont actually want to play any of them.

I remember the golden age of Cod4 and then when WaW came out.. grind everyday, all day when we could.

Unfortunately becoming older does take this away from us somehow

Honestly March to about May is off peak time for gaming there is nothing going on or upcoming until we get into the June Hype fest. The biggest issue this year is COVID delays are now starting to bite if you look at upcoming games it's nothing but TBA or delays addon to this the issue with buying PS5's, XSX and new PC Cards publishers will delay games so they release to more people.

This year is going to be a flat one the COVID effect will be felt across the industry, As lockdowns ease and people get freedom for some cases in almost a year the last thing they will do is stay in to play games and again publishers know that.

I agree there are more games than ever but when was the last time we had a CoD4 or a Minecraft something that shakes things up hell a new GTA it's going on 10 years.

it sucks man video game developers seem to forget its the quality that matters not the amount of games they push out :/

i agree with the last part a lot there really hasn't been anything "revolutionary" for the gaming world in recent years. I mean even GTA V was mellow compared to what it should of been. Hopefully developers get their shit together and produce something worth grinding.

I actually did switch to PC some years back but I ended up quitting gaming I kind of regret selling it because pc is so much better than console honestly. Maybe ill get back in sometime soon but I appreciate that suggestion!!
