So I'm a grown man now. Approaching the grand old age of 25. Went back to my parents house this week to sort through the accumulated junk of my childhood and found my old dead Xbox 360 Arcade - Jtagged by a long gone member of the TTG community and it had me thinking back to 12 years ago. Spending all my time hosting infection lobbies and scrolling the forums on here. It's a lot quieter here these days and finding my old xbox reminded me of a time when the forum was my life out of school. On the COD forums there would be a new post every minute (not just the replies). I met friends who I still game with today on here and with one friend we actually decided to go to the same university as each other, and are now completing our PhD's in Biomedical Science and live together with our partners to save on rent costs living in the city centre.
Any stories from the long standing members of the community who can share similar experiences and any nostalgic memories of "the good old days"? |

I was a leech just like most of the community, constantly looking for those good checkerboard mw2 lobbies before the patch
i think the worst was getting a lobby by a verified user a while back while i was in school, i came back and my stats are absurd (enough to get me top 10) and my account got perma banned from bo2 and a weeks ban from xbox |
