As the title says, I am willing to pay $20 to anyone who can fix the issue.

I ordered a new PC from ibuypower (mistake, I know) and it arrived today. I plugged everything in, went to boot up and saw pink/purple lines on my screen (photos below). I already did all the basics. Made sure the graphics card was properly placed, all the cables were properly connected, etc.. I looked it up and from what I read, it was either the drivers were out of date or the graphics card got damaged in transit. I tried installing the drivers through nvidia and it says they successfully installed, but still leaves the installation options there so it's not actually installing (photos below).

Since the drivers weren't installing I figured it got damaged during transit, but then I tried swapping the graphics card from my old PC and this new one and it worked. My old card worked in my new PC and my new card worked in my old PC so I have no idea what the issue is.

If you boot into BIOS do you get the same issue?

I also think it'll be worth trying to uninstall the graphics driver from device manager and then reboot your machine, it should install basic drivers by itself on reboot.

Try updating the drivers to see if that works if it continues try reinstalling software. If that doesn't work then it's most likely a bad graphics card for that specific pc maybe. It could be a busted port from the transit. It could be many things I tried hopefully. If you can't figure out a solution maybe contact Ibuypower maybe they can replace it for you!

It does happen in bios as well and I have tried uninstalling from there and still having the same issue.

If you're getting the same issue in BIOS it sounds like the card or the PCI lane was damaged.

Showing in BIOS rules Windows out of the equation as a Windows driver.

It could be a firmware or setting on the card, have you tried to factory reset.

You can also see if you can do a BIOS reset on the card.

I did try that as well. I'm leaning towards there's an issue with the card itself. It just doesn't make sense to me since it works perfectly fine on my other pc and the graphics card from my other pc works perfectly fine in this new one.

What Kyle93 could be right.

Have you tried a different display slot? Display port? VGA? presuming you're already using HDMI or vice versa if that makes sense. Only thing about that is you stated that you've tried it in another PC.

The PCIE lane could be damaged is what is sounds like to me unfortunately.

Do you notice any damage to the lane at all?

Have you tried the GPU under load? On a game or stress testing it and see what happens? Could it be a power issue?

Contact iBuyPower support and expect something to be replaced. It's not your responsibility to fix this and you shouldn't spend too much time trying.

Been trying to contact them since Tuesday and have gotten no help.

I do have an update though. I mentioned before that the graphics card works in my old PC, which it does to a certain extent. It works for regular browsing, but once I try loading up a game it just crashes and restarts my PC. Since that's happening, I'm assuming the graphics card is damaged and would need to be replaced, correct?
