so i made a post not too long ago how i couldnt work out because of my skin condition blah blah blah but i finally got my injections for it so for the past week and a half ive been working out consistently hitting both lower and upper on alternating days.

quick notes, im 6'4 and currently at 252 with high bf%(dropped 8 pounds already)

my issue is, ive been eating healthier but not as much because im more focused on losing weight. i probably eat around 1300 - 1500 calories a day max but making protein shakes every morning and night.

as much as i want to lose weight i also want to get maximum gains too, how many calories do you recommend i aim for? nutrition has always confused me and always will

So.. you need to maintain a good diet, that is key here. You are trying to turn fat into muscle which will make you look big and this also means you don't really need creatine in my opinion. Go on a shredding diet to lose some weight and weight train as you do it and you'll start to slowly see progress. Remember it takes a few months for anyone to see any significant progress in their own bodies. Hope this helps and keep it up man!

There are many great apps to help with dieting and caloric intake. I personally recommend MyFitnessPal it takes into account your height, weight and other information including weight goals etc to determine how many calories you should be consuming. It is also important for bigger gentlemen to lose a bit of weight before starting to gain muscle. Otherwise you're turning already stored fat into muscle and no weight will actually be lost because muscle is more dense than fat.

Maintain a good level of cardio, stick to your daily calories and make sure you enjoy working out. Fad diets never worked for me, just good old fashioned 'watch what you eat and don't over eat'.

Hope this helps!
