Hey all, I was wondering if there is anyone else on the site who has been offered or has got the covid vaccine.

If so did you get pfizer or moderna? Did you have any side effects from the vaccine?

I am a commercial electrician and have been working in a hospital for the past couple of months. I was offered the vaccine and got my first shot mid January and get my second one this Friday. After my first shot my arm was sore for a couple days and i was more tired than i normally was but thats about it.

I haven't been offered it as of yet but my mother who works in a hospital has. After the first jab she had the same side affects as yourself, however tiredness and an ache are common in most jabs. She's due for her second injection of the vaccine at the end of the month and hopefully all is well. It's been a week or two since she had the first and hasn't had any negative side affects.

I've been at First Responder for about 6 years now. I was one of the members to receive the pfizer dose.

At first i felt very tired and sore for a few days. But currently to this day i feel completely normal, and i receive my second dose this Friday also.

I got my first dose on Monday there and it was pFizer, no real side effects other than a bit or soreness where I got it, but felt good otherwise

My grandad had it not sure how he was feeling after but my mum (also his carer) didn't say anything about him feeling negative.
