My current gaming lap-top CPU is Intel i5-8400H and GPU is GTX 1050 2GB which sucks.
It crashes when I play GTA online with 720p and 60 frames.

I am planing to build a PC between 1000-2000USD. I need a compatible list!!
The PC is for gaming and video editing. I need a powerfull CPU that is fast for editing...
and GPU that has atleast 2 HDMI plug and 6GB, any suggestion?
The case is not important how it looks, big or small is same for me.
I already have monitors, mouse and keyboard so that is not a an issue.

I live in Norway so buying from amazon or ebay is not going to work for me, however I can find any suggestion in our local stores or norwegian websites called (www.prisjakt.no). Cost is higher where I live but that is okay.
Budgest is between 1000-2000USD

CPU:
Motherboard:
Video Card:
Case:
Power Supply:
Memory: Already decided for 16GB
Storage: Already decided for 1TB
Water cooling:

Do I need anything els like
[b]Wi-fi:
that has WiFi 6 ?
Sound Card: ?
I use lots of bluetooth devices such as Headphones, so its important to have good Bluetooth connection so Bluetooth 5 is important.

CPU: Ryzen 5800X or Ryzen 5900x would both be great for you.
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming Motherboard (ATX) AMD Ryzen 2 AM4 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 USB 3.1 Gen2 B450 ( You really want to check boards out for yourself like this one has 7usb ports some have more some have less and has a type c port. Some boards have front panel type c connecters some don`t. Some have more usb front pannel connector ports some do (this one does)

Video Card: RTX 3070 ( Did not say your resolution but this will be great for 1080p and 1440p )
Case: Cooler Master MasterBox MB311L ARGB MicroATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA G3 80+ Gold 650 W ( I have a 3090 and i9 9900ks does not even go above 600w)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (Only 140usd ) and its rgb why would you cheap out here??? you can get no rg and get same amount for 120?

Storage: Already decided for 1TB IDK what you have decided on but would recommend a nvme or m.2 drive absolutely do not use a hard drive buy a cheap ssd if you have to.

I would not get 16GB of ram when you have a budget of 2000 you could fit 32-64 GB of ram into that budget and would notice it

its not a direct you should buy but shows you do not need to cheap out on your build you have a nice budget here and could even get a 3080 to fit but this is a no compromises build it looks good and runs good

Mostly what he said, Definitely shoot for 32 gb. Especially if you are doing more than just gaming.

The new GPU's might be a bit difficult to get a hold of but will 100% benefit you for Video editing, and gaming.

Honestly I think in this aspect I'd say go for an intel build if it's for work. Intel seems to handle the actually workhorse side of things better and I believe with video editing it's all about MORE CORES. Which I think intel is doing better in.

Intel will be dropping their new line of processors relatively soon so it might be worth waiting to see if you can snag one of those as well. It all just depends how fast you need this build to come togetther,

I am unsure of the situation in the netherlands and if these next gen equipment is as hard to get as it is in the US/UK

As much as i would agree, the Ryzen 5800x & Ryzen 5900x are hard to get even in the UK so if you're okay waiting then that's something you could do but i would recommend also looking at over CPU options if you're wanting it now.

That is inaccurate.

OP, what monitor(s) are you using with the system? The resolution and refresh rate of your monitor(s) will directly affect which CPU and/or GPU you should aim to buy.

As a starting point;
CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 - 2250kr
Motherboard - MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX - 1080kr
RAM - 2x8GB 3600MHz - 830kr
SSD - 1TB WD Blue SN550 - 1200kr
Case - Phanteks Eclipse P400A - 775kr
PSU - Cooler Master MWE Gold 550W - 790kr
GPU - GTX 1660 Super - 2800kr

That's around 9750kr(a little over $1k I think?) and should be ideal for something like 1080p60Hz.

Like I said though, depends on your monitor(s). It might make sense to spend a bit more for an R5 5600x, or Ryzen 7 instead of an R5 3600. It also might make sense to spend more on GPU for something like an RTX 3060Ti, or maybe even RTX 3070/3080, RX 6800/XT.
Also, if you're spending more towards the higher end of your budget, it's most likely worth getting 32GB RAM instead of 16GB and a higher end motherboard(B550 or even X570)

get ryzen cpu rather than intel as other members mentioned specs that will be better for online and offline gaming
