I really don't know if i can post it here but i really need help from someone that knows about selling.

i have many different accounts that i would like to sell but i'm afraid that i will get scammed, i have been scammed some times before.

i have sold some accounts before and soon after selling one they have done charge back through paypal claiming it was a scam when it really wasn't.. then i was left without the payment and without the account.

so my question is what is the best and safest way do sell items? so i don't have to worry about a charge back in the future after already doing to deal.

(if i cant post this here please delete, i just feel this is the best place to ask)

Figure out a good note I can send you a note that works for PayPal, and always get them to either send as G&S or F&F. I'll dm you the note because it's fairly big. That being said aswell always have a middle man. If someone's from here ask a well reputable person to middle man.

So when I sell gamertags I only accept Cashapp Venmo and BTC, chargebacks are possible on cashapp and on venmo but if they happen one time you are banned from the platform unless you change your SSN so most people like 90% won't chargeback on those platforms.

Know who you're selling to a bit make sure they seem genuinely interested in your product and develop some sort of trust with that person.

Always, always charge 1st never give the product without payment unless they have some kind of trustworthy vouch or reputation.

Or simple enough hire someone to middleman for you, they're important and they work.

Middleman is not a problem, i will always take payment first before i give the account over.

For example:

i have someone interested in a account i am selling, he was ready to send the payment just from my ad with no screenshots etc only writing of what is has & WITHOUT even viewing the account via screenshare in a call which i offered in my ad, he said he is buying it for his brother as a birthday gift, keep in mind the account i am selling is for £500.

he is wanting to use PayPal as payment, i heard if he sent payment through paypal as friends and family option he wouldnt beable to charge back, is that true?

My problem right now is £500 is a big amount for me, so i dont want to sell the account, use the £500 on bills/debt etc then get charge back from him and be in a even bigger mess than im already in.

Really hard to charge back through friends and family. Without sitting on the phone with PayPal for hours. Be careful who you sell to, I recently bought an account from a member with thousands of post and high rep with people vouching for him and he did scam me for $220. Still gotta contact staff to get him banned and then gonna try to sit on phone for 5 hours and try to get my money back. Just be careful and best of luck man.

Rules when selling an item:

1. Don't give out item first, you're selling the item, if they want it, they'll pay. That way you're safe.

2. If they offer a large sum of "extra cash" for the item first DONT fall for it. It's a ploy for you to fall into greed and lose your item.

3. If you're dealing over PayPal, only accept friends and family payments, they're pretty much irreversible. If you sell for a large amount then feel free to pm me about that.

4. Some sites offer MM services, sadly I've not seen this implemented here and I think it's a giant the rules. But if you're off site elsewhere, use them.

5. I used to have 2FA and reset log in codes for a 1/2nmonth basis to ensure that once they cleared the payment has gone though, they can't use "I've only just seen it, it's unauthorised access"

6. Finally, deal with more trusted people. People with reputation. Sadly, this may reduce the sales prices but at what cost? - a secure deal with a member who won't scam you.

a lot of misinformation in this thread.
PayPal anything is easy to chargeback, don't accept it from anyone who isn't reputable.

I'd advise using bitcoin or Cashapp, ensuring that they send from balance.

Never do it from PayPal if you know they aren't really trusted or if you have a bad feeling about them,

Just try avoid PayPal as much as possible

As mentioned by frighten there's a lot of outdated info here.

It is equally as easy to charge back a friends and family purchase as it is to charge back for a good or service.

They updated that since so many people were using the friends and family option as a way around it.

I personally recommend using stripe, it collects fraud info etc etc and as long as you provide usage logs etc you will win %90 of disputes. In order from them to dispute they have to call their bank, can't just click a button.

Due to the nature of my business being cheats I can't use PayPal anymore, too many shady people out there ready to charge back at the slightest inconvenience or to flat out scam you.

So my advice is use stripe for accepting payments!

Edit^^ you can set up a shoppy page with the accounts you want to sell and use stripe as a payment method, same as bitcoin.
