I'm having a hard time finding a full size case that will fit the ASUS ROG Maximus XII Extreme Z490 motherboard, while not being a "Super" tower.
Looking for a Full Size Tower which fits the parts listed below and has room to grow in the future. I would like a case with a side window and it to be Black in color. I'm not into extreme designs, I have favored the simplistic look of Corsair cases in the past. Would prefer not to go with a Super Tower, but if that would be a better fit, I am open to any and all suggestions. I am open to sending back / switching parts which would better fit my intended uses. This build will need to last for quite a while, as it is a large expenditure for me. Also, am I missing anything outside of the case "cables, cable management, fans, etc"? Any help would be greatly appreciated. My last build was many moons ago and I'm a bit rusty when it comes to this sort of thing. I have the Corsair 570x Crystal and I seem to enjoy it for now. Decent airflow and looks. they also have a black or mirror version I think. corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Prod...9011098-WW |

Legion: Thanks for the reply. The Corsair 570x is the exact style of chassis that I am looking for. Unfortunately, it does not fit the E-ATX form factor of my motherboard, the ASUS ROG Maximus XII Extreme Z490. The dimensions for the Maximus XII are 12 inches by 10.9 inches.
I was looking at the Cooler Master Cosmos C700M case "even though it looks a bit garish" but even that very large case only supports E-ATX motherboards with maximum dimensions of 12 inches by 10.7 inches. |

"E-ATX" is not always the same dimensions, so you're going to have to double check motherboard and case compatibility either way for your motherboard.
I'd personally be looking at a Phanteks P500A or Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic, either of which should fit most(if not, all) "E-ATX" motherboards. Fractal Design Meshify S2 is another good option, bit over-priced for what it is though IMHO. |
