Hi guys hopefully can get some help on here as most people are trustworthy, I'm looking to buy a pc, mainly for gaming but also don't want it being slow when browsing the net and using office things. I'm very stupid when it comes to pcs and don't understand anything about them, looking to play most games football manager fortnite etc etc with okay graphics and speed doesn't have to be high end etc just want it to do a decent job for a couple of years at least! Looking at a budget of £400 cheaper the better! Anyone have any suggestions?? eBay or amazon etc? Again I know there's company's that build it from scratch but I have 0 idea of what I'm doing. So help would be great thank you!

But for £400 it wont be all that, I'd recommend putting more money into it, might be best off just getting a laptop that can run it instead of a pc

£400 won't get you nowhere to be honest, especially if you're looking for a pre-built. Is there no one that can build one for you? If so, let me know and we'll get you sorted on components via PCPP.

400 quid is plenty for a system being used for Fortnite and Football Manager lol. Even the Vega 8 iGPU in something like an R3 2200G or 3200G is fine for Fortnite at medium settings @ 1080p.

That's where I would start. You'll need to add a GPU to this, but I would recommend buying a used GPU.
If you're not comfortable buying used, then swap the R3 1200(12nm) for an R3 3200G or R5 3400G and just run the integrated graphics.

If you are comfortable buying used, then 70 quid will easily get you an RX 470/570 on the used market. You might even find an RX 480/580 if you're lucky. Those are the GPU's you should be looking at really. You'll probably find GTX 970s for a similar price, but I'd stick with the AMD options at this point to be honest.
Also, if you're buying a used GPU anyway, then I'd have a look at used Ryzen CPU's. I've seen plenty R5 1600's go for 60ish quid, and that would be a better option than the R3 1200(12nm).

If you don't mind used hardware but don't want to navigate the used market, then CeX have RX 480s for 90 quid;

So you could get these both and stay within your £400 budget. The R3 1200 on CeX is the 14nm variant, so should be slightly lower clock speeds than the 12nm variant, but it's really a negligible difference- I'd rather saver the 20 quid and get the 14nm variant R3 1200. Unless of course you can get an R5 1600 for 60 quid.

I would very much suggest to just get a credit card and build one and pay it off over time, with amazon's card you can get up to like 18 months interest free, then using that 400$ to pay off a chunk of the credit card immediately or else your just gonna end up spending more in the future to upgrading imho. Just an idea to get yourself a pc that you won't be fighting with or upset it won't run anything besides fortnite. Fortnite is highly optimized is why you'll be able to play it on the lower end stuff. Also you could get a really cheap build and then use a service like shadow play or nvidia GeForce now. Just some ideas
