Hello, I'm fairly new to my PC. I'm on Windows 10. I have the Xbox Live Game Pass on my PC and the Halo: MCC was available for free, I downloaded it. I was going to start it up to check it out and once I tried to log in to my Xbox account, I was greeted with:

"We couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live. Your account doesn't match your dev environment. If you're in the right sandbox and environment, switch to a Microsoft account for that sandbox. To keep using this account, change the registry's sandbox and environment. (%1)"

I clicked "Try Again" but it just took me back to the same error message. Any help or suggestions? Thank you.

I've found absolutely nothing on the Internet except one Reddit post that said "oh, you just have to set your sandbox value to "RETAIL" but it didn't explain anything other than that. I have no idea how to view the sandbox value or whatever it's called.

There is a lot of people with this issue, ever since last night almost everyone has had issues with games. This is not the only game that is having issues, there is no way to get past this error message yet. I would honestly wait for this to pan itself out unfortunately.

I've had problems with a few other games using Microsoft store as launcher. I believe there is no fix as its alot of games. I would wait and hope they resolve this on their own.

Thanks for the replies, everybody. Didn't realize that this was a overall thing, thought it was my PC with some sort of issue. HOPEFULLY they can fix it soon so I can dive back in to Halo 3.

Been seeing this issue a lot but no public fix. Seems like a regedit issue
