Wassupp guys, Basically I'm making this forum because I need a little advice,

I'm 21 y/o, a Junior in college and Im actually about to move into my first apartment with my girlfriend in what I just realized is two weeks from today... and at first I was super confident but, I already know I'm going to miss my family.. I grew up w/ my mom & my grandma, and now I'm about to move to another state and am going to be 5 hours away from them. (I'm moving closer to the college I attend) and now I'm just getting more and more nervous. I'm also going to have roommates but I know all of my roommates, and I'm using this to gain renters experience so after a year or two doing this I can get my own townhouse or home.. Any advice? Am I moving too fast? I know I can afford it and I know I also have help if I need it but I already saved 6 months worth of rent and I'm trying to save and so i can live a better life and be able to take care of my family.. With this Covid-19 experience I realized that time moves fast and the ones that you love don't live forever and I don't want to take that for granted... Its just alot on my mind fr.

If youre moving with your girlfriend, shes your family as well so you shouldnt feel too nervous. After a week or two the feelings will go away. I cant speak based on experience but my family moved from Kurdistan Iraq to California..I dont have any other family members here besides my sibilings and parents. Itll feel natural.

You will be fine. You will have your girlfriend there with you so you're not doing this all by yourself
and it's good for you to experience real-life without your parents around you all the time. Your turning
into an adult now and you will see how that is after a year of living there.Just always check up on your family give them a call or text to make sure everything and everybody good. Hope Everything Works out for you And Always Stay safe

Live your life man, the first few weeks may be tough but things are only going to get better! You'll always miss your family but I'm sure you'll have chances to visit them and I'm sure they will visit you too.

It sounds like you're going through a lot of over thinking.
But in all honesty, you won't know how you'll handle it until you're actually in the situation.
In my personal opinion it sounds like it could be a beneficial experience, just take it one day at a time!
