After all of this stuff going on the Redskins finally decided to retire their name. There has been talks about it before, similar to how the blackhawks over in the NHL get slander for their name but nothing was ever done about it.

I have no clue what they'll change it to but it's about time. People have been complaining about their name for so long now.
Blackhawks said they aren't going to change theirs. |

They are free to change it how they see fit but..
Right leaning rant ahead.. I think it's ridiculous how they are giving into the pressure and changing their name. As a native american, I personally have no issue with the teams name. Not to mention, the name was originally chosen to honor the coach and some players at the time. Each of them liked the name and had no issues with it.
Crazy world. We allow 10% of the population to moan about small things and then 60% of us bend over for them and the other 30% finds it crazy. There will be no pleasing these people. They'll go from one thing to another and it'll continue to get worse the more we let them censor stuff like this. |

It's not a coincidence that right after FedEx said "We won't sponsor you if you don't change your name" that they changed they decided to change their name quick AF |
