Looking for a free zip file opener.

I used WinRAR in the past but it isn't free anymore and I don't want to have to pay for it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think 7ZIP is the same thing. I used to use that before.

I'd agree with this. I use 7zip on a daily basis and it's super nice and simple to use

You don't have to pay for winRAR. after getting it installed itll ask you to pay for the full version everytime you open it but still let's you use all the features just fine. I dont ever use it though. As others have said I think 7zip is the way to go

i have winrar and have never paid for it and still use it

winrar was never free the trial just never runs out which i still recommend using winrar its good, next best one is 7zip(this one you have to manually set 7zfm to open files)

As previously suggested by other users: 7-Zip. Or uninstall WinRAR from the control panel, remove the registry keys (if you have any, it isn't a given) and install again.

I use 7zip and before i had winrar but i got the crack version
