Looking for best price to performance gpu to run warzone at highest frames possible with 1080p 144hz.

I currently have ryzen 5 2600 cpu
Rx580 gpu

And the game looks very gritty and poor was looking at the rx5700 as the specs aren't too far off the rtx2070 super but is it worth going the nividia route? Are rtx better than rx in reliability? L

2070 super is my highest price I'm willing to pay but hopefully someone can tell me the rx5700 is better and reliable.. if so which brands

Thank you

Get the Rtx 2070 super. I purchased an rx 5700 xt 50th anniversary edition, and it has been nothing but trash performance. It seems like 1/2 of people who buy these navi gpus are having the same problems as me, graphics card doesn't use all of its resources in most games, and it has severe stuttering in some games as well. I'm in the process of exchanging it for a super. Never going back to amd again, this rx has worse performance than my old gtx 1060 6gb in some titles.

Yikes, I'm willing to bet that's why. AMD reference coolers are notoriously terrible, and they can actually be an issue with Navi. Get some proper cooling on that thing, and I'm sure that would solve your issues.

What do you mean "doesn't use all of its resources"?
What games are you experiencing stuttering in? What are your settings? What are your temps/clock speeds when experiencing issues?

Then there's some sort of more serious issue than just 'AMD bad'. A 6GB GTX 1060 shouldn't come anywhere close to a 5700XT in any scenario. Sounds to me like potential thermal throttling.

RTX 2070 Super is ~10% faster than an RX 5700XT. The 5700XT is a far better value card, just make sure to get a decent one. Anything from Sapphire or Gigabyte are fine, Powercolor as well.
If you're not interested in DLSS/RTX at all, then I'd just grab a decent 5700XT and save a good chunk of cash. That said, I bought a 2070 Super over a 5700XT.

Temps run just fine they never pass 70 C on the few games that do manage to do 90%+ gpu utilization.
Even with a ryzen 5 3600x and 16gb of 3200mhz ddr4 the gpu is not able to manage 90%+ gpu utilization on most games. For example CS:GO will stay fluctuating around 40-60% usage, with out ever hitting 99. Battlefield 4 stays at around 60-75% gpu usage. BFV and mirrors edge catalyst have massive stuttering in game that makes them unplayable. Metro exodus locks itself to my refresh rate, without v-sync on. Gta V does the same and stays around 60% gpu usage. This is just a few. Keep in mind, that my gpu clocks while this under performance is happening are relatively stable(anywhere from 1700-2100mhz). My cpu has a stable clock of 4.2 ghz and temps are always in 45-55C range under max load. This might've been a really defective card, the gpu usage being around 40-75% in most games is what would cause less performance than my old 1060. That one was always on 99% utilization and cs go, gta 5, bf4 all had better 1080p framerates on there. Whatever it is, I never had a problem with nvidia, those cards always run smooth as butter as soon as you hook em up. AMD seems like nothing but driver issues and bad experiences(adrenaline 2020 is trash and buggy compared to geforce experience as well) , so I'm hopping back over to the green team and staying there for good.

Here's exactly what I mean @21, you can imagine how much this pisses me off after spending $450 on the flagship 5700xt. This is why I'm telling buddy to get the 2070 super. These cards have been a joke since they came out. Driver issues were barely stabilized for most users in march( nearly a year after release). There is no point in even risking it with AMD, in my opinion. There is also reports from users who are functioning 100% correctly, that still experience small stuttering in games.

Thanks for you're reply's guys after reading all of that I'm still sitting on the fence with either the 2070 super or 5700xt. The cheapest gigabyte oc Is just under £400 near me. The similar gigabyte 2070 super is 240. So my option really is do I take the risk with the driver issues but better value for money or go for the more highly rated 140 more super, this is so hard lol

Nvidia has a lot of different 2070 supers on their website for $500, which would be roughly £402. Idk if they're available in the U.K for that price. But, that's a good place to start to find the best deals on the 2070. If you want to go ahead with the 5700xt your best bet would be to look up benchmarks with specs closest to yours, see what brand rx was used, and go with that one. Good luck m8!

Cheaper 5700XT's I'd be looking at;
amazon.co.uk/dp/B07ZP5QZX2?tag=pc...&psc=1
amazon.co.uk/dp/B07WNYZJ7Y?tag=pc...&psc=1

Cheapest you'll get an RTX 2070 Super is 500 quid, more like £550ish if you don't want one of the lower end, cheap coolers.

I have a liquid devil 5700xt paired with i7-8700k and it runs amazing on apex and cod mw.
I play on a 1080p 240hz monitor and it runs over 200fps
Love the 5700xt its an amazing card
