So, over the last few weeks I've been grinding to save up for a PC doing graphics. So as you can imagine there's a lot of sums of money ranging from £10 to £50.

Well, I've just gone to check my balance, I've had over £100 taken out in multiple payments. I've gone to check to see on PayPal what those charges are for and there is absolutely nothing in my activity. Usually when I have a chargeback it shown up as a negative on my side of activity. This time, nothing.

I'm not sure at all what this could be, I'm looking for some advice.. literally any advice.

I'm probably going to stay up all night again so I can ring my bank straight away. Avoid the long wait.

Edit: these payment are literally the weirdest amounts of money, none of them match the funds I've earned, they're spread out like low sums of $7 $17 all the way through to 40+

When you go to account summary does it say they were used anywhere specifically?

No there's literally nothing there whatsoever, no chargebacks or anything.. it's literally like my bank have sent the money back to PayPal but PayPal aren't giving it back to me.

paypal takes money without anyways if you have more then 100+ in the account, i had them stolen money right from my own bank account without my permission(they had pre auth).

so its most likely just the scummy practice that paypal is where they do hidden take outs, thats what a friend of mine says because he makes over 5k through donations(he saves) and paypal took 100+ out every 2 weeks, one reason i recommend staying away from paypal.

i also have had issues like i said in the first sentence, its best not to really use paypal, only thing you can do is check your bank balance and see if theres a pre auth transfer from paypal which then call the bank to do a charge back they will do it for you, also contact paypal support they wont help(they hung up on my moms face when she was trying to close her account)
