Current system:
Ryzen 7 2700x
GeForce RTX 2070
16gb DDR4 Corsair Vengence 3600mhz
500 gb m.2 ssd
600 watt evga nonmodula psu

Looking for:
Motherboard that can support my 2700x and RTX 2070. Will need an m.2 of course too.

The prices are inflated for everything. I was initially going to get an ASUS X470 pro, but those are pretty much unavailable or like $300.

I know this is not the best time to buy any computer parts, but if you could help point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

I've got an ASUS X570-P.

I run it with Ryzen 5 3600 and a 2070 super. Works a treat and had 0 issues, easy to install.

Thanks LGW, I'll take a look at it. I am a fan of ASUS bios. At least on my other motherboard, which was ASUS, bios was easy to use for me.

Not totally sure if I need all the features the new x570 boards offer, but it couldn't hurt

Hopefully it's not priced gouged too badly.

Depends frankly motherboard upgrades really involve the question of what you're doing.
Are you trying to break overclocking records? Do you care about power draw and cooling potential? Do you care for certain features?

In my case I have a Z370 Motherboard for an 8700K. All under water, and I could not care about an X570 or a Z390 Motherboard. Why? Because Z390 is garbage compared to X570 standards, and X570 has nothing respective at this time to make the new connections and everything really worth it's own price tag. Why pay for a board you literally can't upgrade because none exist?

Buy reasonable. Buy the things you need/want. Not idiotic dreams.

Thank you so much!

That's a good point. I do not care too much about overclocking. I'm gaming in 1080p and not planning on streaming. I'm not getting an AIO either.

I will think about what you said about how everything has its own price tag in respect to what I want, plan to utilize, and need.
