Has anybody secured them with anything other than self-tappers & nut + bolt?

Honestly self tappers is the way to go so it doesn't fly off.

Threaded with nuts and bolts.

If I need to repaint it I don't want to strip threads. Also if another lip/splitter comes out I like better you can replace ezpz.

I wouldn't trust any sort of adhesive, especially with how much force it put onto it. Depending on how low your car is and how the angles are, you might be able to find the clamps like what people use to clamp their canopies onto their trucks. This is what I use for my canopy.

This looks like a better option than drilling into my bumper at least, I'll look into it. Thanks.

I've always nut/bolted and used tiger seal since having one rip the bolts out taking chunks of the bumper out.
