I just received a desktop as a gift but it came with no hard drives. I connected a laptop hard drive to it and started it up but nothing would show on the monitor and I could not access BIOS using any of the F functions. I made a video stating my problem:

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

I just had a look at your video and at first glance see no issues that would be causing anything to go wrong. When you first start the computer does it past POST?

could always try using the motherboard port for video or the GPU. Regardless stuff is spinning up so there is power getting delivered. Best thing would be to go piece by piece removing & reseating things until you can sort out what is wrong.

The Corsair Vengeance is your RAM, not "graphics cards" btw, the GTX 960 is your GPU.

Is the HDMI cable plugged into the motherboard or GPU?

If the HDMI cable is plugged into the GPU and you're getting no display, I would unplug the HDD, remove the GPU and maybe even remove 1 of the 2 sticks of RAM. Then plug the HDMI cable into the motherboard and see if you can boot to the BIOS. Then start rebuilding bit by bit until you find the problem.
