I know it's hard to forget about them but both of you have to figure out if you guys want to be together or not.

Yes its very hard at the moment for both. We had alot of problems together and we both decided its vest now to focus on ourselves but we cant seem to just stop texting.

No relationship is perfect trust me. There is fighting, (not physically I hope not) but at the end of the day does she still love you? And do you still love her? Talk about your problems don't be afraid to open up. If you really care about each other you can work things out no matter what the issue is.

Yeah there was fighting but not physical. At the start i lied about some things(Which i regret), and closer to the end we just werent as happy as we once were. We both are from different childhoods, Like i work monday - friday, And she is from a wealthier family, Who took the university route in life so she lives around 100 miles away but we seen each other every weekend. Yes we still are in love with each other, But i am clinging onto hope that she will want me back, I dont know if thats the best thing to do.

If you've lied about talking to someone else, tell her that it was a mistake and that you are very sorry. Let her know you want to spend the rest of your life with her. Because what's the point of dating if you are not planning to get married. Let her know you still love her and that you want to be with her forever.
You were together for 2 years that's a while. I'm guessing you met her parents and even maybe some family relatives. All I can say is try working it out with her or try talking someone else if you want to move on.

I was talking to someone else when i met my ex, As soon as i met my ex i cut contact with the other person. But i lied about sleeping with them and things which was just stupid on my behalf. I met her mum, Her step father didnt approve of me for some odd reason although i never met him. She met all my family but i only met her mother. I still have hope of her coming back but im not wanting to just have hope for months incase she doesnt.

Lying about that wasn't very smart. But it's not like you slept with them while you had your girlfriend. Ask her if she still wants to be with you. And if she does I think you can work things out and quit the bull s h i t. If you really love her.

My advice; Focus on yourself, distract yourself for as long as possible.

Find a hobby. Easiest way to get your mind off of things. Go for a run, go play your favorite sport, go hit the gym.

You'll be alright bro

that sucks man. i would honestly suggest just trying to do things that make you happy and that you can do yourself. spend time with other people that are close to you in your life such as your friends. that's would i personally would do. i wish you the best of luck of getting back together.

It wasnt the distance that made things hard imo. I think it was the case that i could only see my friends at weekends and see my gf at weekends too so i had to try balance things out. We have been chatting a small bit today.

Honestly your feelings for her probably won't subside, but just have boundaries and give her some space.
Find time to take care of yourself, and keep yourself busy.
Time will heal the wounds you have right now, you got this boss.
