So I don't have severe acne but I'd say it's about moderately bad. I was just curious about what others have used to clear theirs up. What's worked and what hasn't. Thanks boys!

You have to use them for awhile, no acne cures will help if they aren't consistent.

All acne cure share one thing in common aside from face masks, they all just dry your skin out which will tighten your pores, you use the face mask to properly clean the pores after using a face wash.

Shower or just wash your face at night with warm water, use face wash, use cold water after face wash to close your pores back up use a face mask then sleep.

Obviously it's very important to try not to use your hands on your face at all but it's human habit to touch your face so keep them hands clean at all times, if you sweat bad try to keep yourself cooler.

I don't have much acne at all and always use those steps either way, if I didn't I'd break out.

I would stay away from really greasy food, and try not to touch your face as much. Your fingers have oil and dirt on it, so be sure to wash your hands quite frequently.

I would just suggest if you have really oily skin to wash it about three times a day.

Avoid eating greasy food and avoid drinking soda.

Try to drink lots of water.

When I was in high school I was prescribed Isotretinoin by my dermatologist. The name of the medicine was Accutane. It was a vitamin A supplement that basically killed all my acne as I broke out horribly.

It does have MAJOR side effects as in: Depression, Chapped everything (lips, face, etc), dehydration no matter how much I drank. You can't have kids or anything as it will have side effects with those types of activities as well.

6 months later, I was off the meds and man I looked so different.

It was great for me. Those are just some of the effects I experienced when I was on that medication.

So when I was in high school I had a lot of acne mainly because I touched my face a lot and I drank a lot of soda. I still get a little acne but it isn't as bad as it was. Try drinking a lot of water and lay off of stuff like soda. (Don't know if you drink soda or not). Don't touch your face.

Also, wash your face more often. Try putting lotion on your face everyday and keep it moisturized

When I had acne I never took meds. I changed my diet completely and gave up a lot of foods. I haven't had a soda in around 4-5 years. Water everyday is very important for skin. I use face lotion after shower and face wash in the shower. Also working out and stuff might help with acne.
