I always hear arguments about mw2 is the best, bo3 is the worst and so on but where does WW2 land? I personally stopped playing it after the first month because the maps were super monotone and the game was gray and just unappealing to play.

Did the game get better down the road? Or did they just kill it like bo3/bo4 loot box guns? I feel like people don't even acknowledge that its a call of duty game.

I think WW2 got pushed aside, it honestly isn't the best game by far but it's not the worst either. I liked the atmosphere of the zombies that they used with their own spin on it. The campaign was pretty decent, the multiplayer was kinda buggy at first. But then after patches it turned out pretty good, after all the level 100 and 1,000s dupe was leaked it had the game skyrocket. After that it lost traction because people got what they wanted, which was a high rank.

The campaign was definitely up there of my favorites, actually gave me a run for my money on Veteran difficulty. I get what they were trying with zombies but it felt like the Infinite warfare zombies. Felt really out of place but it had its moments.
