It was a bad weekend, 9,000 more infections and almost 300 more deaths. We've doubled infections and deaths in one week, but thankfully we've also had a 5x increase in those recovered. Hopefully the deaths and infections will subside sooner rather than later and I hope to see the recovered statistic continue to sky rocket.

The virus continues to have greater and greater impacts on the world economy. Amazon among other companies are backing out of the Barcelona tech conference over fears of the virus, Hong Kong's economy is taking a major hit as is chinas. Many US companies including Tesla are being hit by shipment and factory delays in China as many plants are being shut down and workers told to remain home. China is limiting its stock market and not allowing shorting or selling while also pumping money into the market to artificially create stability. They could end up spending billions in order to maintain the market.

this is tragic to see, i wasnt really keeping up with the virus but until just now when i read this something needs to be done and quick!

They should have just quarantined all of Wuhan straight away, no-one in and no-one out. Left it to late and people brought it back to various countries.
