Since this budget is wide in reality, few more simple questions.
Are you looking into multiple monitors or just a single monitor? What games are you going to be playing? (some monitors just make them look better tbh) Do you have a keyboard preference? Tactile click? Responsive? Mouse preference? (wired, wireless, ETC) As far as wifi goes what are your rated speeds? (just determines on what kind of adapter you need really) |

Your build for a majority of your budget excluding mouse, keyboard, case, cooling fans and monitor incase you have specifics in mind but remember this build eats a lot of your budget due to shear market inflation. Going to be listing a couple based on different preferences really. The budget is high enough to accommodate for almost anything. For all of these i went with the 5700XT (you can swap to a 2070/80 super, though not entirely needed IMO unless you're a frame junkie)
Base system, there is a lot that is optional here. The case, motherboard, CPU, GPU, cooling. I went with a fairly straightforward system, good build space, decent cooling. The GPU is optional due to just keeping it at a lower budget. You could easily scrap half of this and throw a 2080/70(insert model here) in but at their price ranges for the performance at times i just don't really see the price being justifiable. The 5700XT is more than adequate enough for 1440p@144 if you lower the settings slightly in more demanding games. If not it's still a good stable rate on high/ultra. You can swap the CPU for a 3950x for about ~200 more. PCPartPicker Part List

Most people would either recommend 4x8 but the difference isn't too noticeable for most people. As far as the monitor goes with both of these systems i don't really know what size you were looking for or what resolution so i went with something in the middle with a decent spec sheet. This is something i would more than likely take advice from someone else on seeing as i don't stick much with 16:9 panels anymore. Regardless i'd grab a gas spring vesa arm. The keyboard and mouse really comes down to feel and your preference. I would check out mice at a local place if you have the chance if not have an idea of what you want and we can find you something. For the keyboard, i personally don't drop loads on peripherals like that. I went with a redragon k552 a few years ago and it still holds up perfectly fine to this day. Solid build ETC. Though that is just me, you can easily look towards custom built mechs, logitech, corsair, ETC. |

If you're really spending 2-2.5 racks, then you're being way too vague with your request honestly.
You can do a lot with that budget, so you really need to specify more what you're looking for if possible. What exactly is the system being used for, other than Fortnite? Fortnite isn't exactly a demanding game, you don't need £2000-2500 for it. What kind of monitor preferences do you have? High refresh rate, high resolution, ultrawide, etc? Do you have any preferences for aesthetics- RGB, air vs water cooling, etc? Well, actually the 1000D is the Halo, and the 500D is a bit cut down. It's far bigger than you'll ever need. It's just not worth the asking price either IMO.
