I'm not sure how to word this without complicating it so here it goes.
After this update, everyone is forced to use #3456 numbers at the end. Now, I'm wanting to take a spaced gamertag that no one has & is 100% claimable, but when I go to take it, it still adds numbers. There was a method before hand to change it via Xbox.com which has now unfortunately been updated. Is there a working method on how to claim gamer tags without numbers now)? |

WLR wrote Try asking microsoft support , but my friend have changed his gt without numbers recently so idk It says on Xbox support that you can take gamertags without a suffix however, stupid combinations of gamertags that genuinely aren't taken & never have been are coming up.. like combinations like; Supernova JS Simply JS It's slightly annoying if I'm honest.. |

| I'm not 100% certain you can anymore. Not positive but I went to change mine to something not taken yet and again like you said, it added numbers to it. I think that's just how it is now. |
