Hi new to PC building and am stuck on a connection issue:

Have the Cosair RM750X power supply and unsure how to connect it correctly and safely to the GPU. Graphics card is Asus Nvidia 2060 Super Rog Strix with 6+ 8 pin connections. The power supply comes with a PCIE Y cable with each branch having a 6+2 connector. Do I connect one branch of the cables or both to the graphics card? as want to ensure have correct amount of power and is done safely for the PC build.

Thank you for any advice

Both branches. There is no significant difference between using two cables as opposed to a split.

With a 6GB RTX 2060, a single 8-pin would absolutely be enough.

However, you should definitely use both cables. Some GPUs these days actually won't let you boot without all power connectors plugged in, to avoid causing any issues.
So connect a 6+2-pin and a 6-pin, with a single 2-pin hanging loose.
