I was on live chat support with Xbox yesterday about the gamertag stuff, They said overtime everyone will have a specific # no matter if you change your GT or not, not sure when that will take place, but that's what the Xbox help representative said yesterday to me

Seems like it, I'm pretty sure it won't show the # in game and stuff, just when you go to their profile, Kind of how like Discord does it.
