what is your budget and currency? $800 USD.

what will you use the PC for? fortnite, light streaming, photoshop & fl studio. fort is the main game i play but it'd be nice to be able to run other games too like apex legends, cs-go etc.

do you need a monitor? if not, what monitor(s) will you be using? currently have 75hz asus (VG245) definitely want to upgrade (144hz) in the future, but if you can fit one into my budget that'd be nice. preferably 24 inch that i can pair with my current one to use as second monitor.

do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals? yes, mouse & keyboard preferably w RGB.

do you need an operating system? windows 10.

will you overclock? should i? if not then no.

anything else we should know? just want something smooth that i can use for a while (years) & upgrade parts as time goes by.

You're not getting a decent 1080p144Hz monitor and a reasonable system for $800 unfortunately.

$800 will get you a nice little PC though, and you can easily upgrade monitor later. Your 75Hz monitor will definitely do for now.

~500ish GB SSD is a must, and you'll probably want to add an HDD when you have some spare cash but this Sabrent Rocket will you do you for now.

I'd just grab any cheap $20-30 kb+mouse combo for now, it's super easy to upgrade these later. If you've got a hard budget of $800, then you can easily save $30 on the PSU by getting a Bronze rated unit instead of Gold, and that would let you get a kb/mouse combo within your $800 budget. Something like a Corsair CX450M/CX550M should be $50/55 and would be perfectly adequate, just make sure to get a grey label CXM PSU if you do, do NOT get a green label one.

You could also save a bit of cash on the case and mobo if you want, but I'd rather spend the little extra on those now because it's more liekly to benefit you in the future IMO.

If you don't care about more expensive case, mobo, or PSU, you could do something like this and get a much better GPU within budget;

It looks like both MSI monitors use the same panel, but the cheaper G24C has a cheap crap stand in comparison to the more expensive MSI monitor. It also looks like the G24C doesn't have any VESA compatibility. At these prices though, I'd absolutely just be getting the AOC monitor.
